standards, quality concepts, design experience through a team project. Prerequisite: Graduating status |

EE 494 Engineering Design II (1+2) 2 Continuation of EE 493 with topics covering statistics,
reliability, engineering economics, ethics, and completion of a team project
with a final report and presentation. Prerequisite: EE 493 |

Designer's
Log-book Every student should keep a
notebook up to date. [More] Preproposal Every team should submit a
preproposal indicating team's choice of project topic and interpretation of
the problem. [More] Proposal Every team should submit a proposal together with the work-plan. [More] Conceptual design Presentations Weekly Team Progress
Report Every team should submit a
short report, accounting for the past week's activities and plans for the
next, also indicating individual contributions. Individual members should be
prepared to give an account of their share during design studio meetings. [More] Final report A thorough report
summarizing the results of the whole design effort.[More] Implementation and Demo Every team will demonstrate a fully implemented, working prototype of its design. |
