The graduate program gives opportunities to qualified students for further education at
an advanced level.
The department has around 250 MS and 80 PhD students.
The students may specialize in the fields of circuits and systems, electronics,
biomedical engineering, microwaves, communications, signal processing, control systems,
computer engineering, electrical machines, power systems and high voltage.
The candidates fulfilling the university requirements are awarded the degree of Master
of Science (M.S.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronic
Engineering. A minimum of 7 courses and a seminar on the thesis topic is required by the
